Test Results
The quickest and easiest way to view your test results is through the NHS App or by logging into your online patient account.
Blood Test Results
Please allow up to 7 working days for blood test results to be received and reviewed.
Please note that blood tests requested by a hospital specialist may not be sent directly to the practice. If you have undergone tests requested by a hospital team, you may need to contact the relevant department for your results.
Unfortunately, we are not always able to provide full test results over the telephone. If your results require further discussion, or if a clinician would like to speak with you, we will contact you directly.
Radiology and Hospital Test Results
Results from hospital-based investigations, such as X-rays, ultrasound scans, CT scans, and MRI scans, can take up to 30 days or longer to be received by the practice. We are unable to influence the time taken by hospitals to process and return these results.
Once your results have been received, they will be reviewed by a clinician. If further discussion or follow-up is required, we will contact you. In some cases, normal results may be communicated by text message.

Please remember that it is your responsibility to check that your results have been received and to make any necessary follow-up arrangements.
If you are concerned about a delay in receiving your results, or if you have not heard from us within the expected timeframe, please contact the practice for advice.
